God Dislikes Preachers

It would seem that many people for one reason or another do not like the clergy, (Ministers, Pastors, Priest, Reverends).
Recently there was a heated discussion going on and a non-Christian gentleman got so frustrated that he reverted to calling the Minister derogatory names. The Minister told the readers (this was online) that calling a Minister names is a sin not only against the Minister but also God. This is serious but for a non-christian, it meant nothing. He finally said that, GOD DISLIKES PREACHERS! Let me bring to you Scripture:

John 15: 18-22

18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

20: Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin

2 Timothy 4: 1-5 (NIV)

1 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:
2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Please understand that, according to scripture, publicly ridiculing and calling a clergy names is a sin against Jesus our Lord God. This is serious stuff people. I am not just talking about me rather, any man or woman of the cloth (clergy). You may not like what is said or how it is put. Be careful in what you say and how you disagree or you can commit a serious sin against my Master.

I Give you a SEED of TRUTH, nurture it and Grow!

♥ God Bless
